I was one of those girls in high school that laughed off awkward moments, joked around till the wee hours of the morning and practically fell off my chair when college applications came around. So I did some solid research [pfft, get real] and ticked the box for Print Journalism, story telling was in my nature. That ship sailed and no pun intended, but after school I just needed to get out of town - so I joined this thing called Yachting. I worked for the rich and famous, traveled around the world and just lived by the motto 'Work hard, play harder' -if only I was talented enough to come up with my own motto. Years later I settled for a real job close to home, believe it or not, in my field. Being Assistant Editor of a magazine isn't hard when you get to snowmobile and ATV all year long - but did I mention the economy sucked? So here I am, starting at the bottom of the chain and clicking away on my old keyboard. Writing is my passion, SM is in my blood and everything else is just a bonus. I'm outdoors as much as possible, eat as clean as I can and still joke around till the wee hours - but only on the hours outside of Monday-Friday/9-5.
